The Hampshire Sewing fairy is a bespoke curtain and soft furnishing maker, Owned and run by Emma Hill who set up the business in 2014.

 

I adore fabrics, patterns and textures and love  helping people to pick out and create the right fabrics for their home. I listen to my customers and inspire them with ideas and create beautiful curtains, roman blinds or soft furnishings for them.

 

My background is in Fashion Design and Textiles, from my Degree in Fashion design and pattern cutting I worked for 10 years as a fashion designer in the highstreet market. The best part of my job was working with the sample pattern room and making prototypes and press pieces. I have had a sewing machine and been designing and making since I was a little girl. Its the only job I have ever wanted to do, I can't go a day without sewing!!! 

 

I am a trained dressmaker and pattern cutter but I love making curtains and soft furnishings.
